The fort was equipped with four batteries: Battery I with two 15.2 cm cannons in armored turrets, Battery II with two 24 cm cannons on self lowering carriages, Battery III with four 57 mm cannons in armored turrets and Gothic Battery with four 57 mm cannons. Today, there are two 24 cm cannons from Battery II on the fort. The fort has several hundred meters long corridors, kitchens, sanitary and technical spaces, hospital and expedition rooms - for the maintenance of 300 military.
