Visit to the tourist attraction of Sweden - Nynäs Castle: was the manor already in the 1300s, and the present castle was built in the 1650s by Privy Council Erik Gyllenstierna, but has since undergone several renovations.

The castle has been structured of so that the ground floor contained economy rooms (kitchen, tissue chamber, etc.) and rooms for the service people. The mezzanine was the parade hall and the top floor, which was fully furnished only in the early 1800s, served as a guest house. It's worth seeing on the stucco ceilings of the 17th century in the parade hall.
