The abbey originally consisted of a abbey's church and three buildings that formed a square around a courtyard. The abbey consists of three connected buildings: the church of St. Peter, the former gatehouse and the one preserved wing. The all buildings are made of red brick, making the edifice one of the most striking examples of Brick Gothic in Sweden.
